LIFETIME COLLECTIVE// INTRODUCING NEW WMNS DESIGNER JUDITH FELLER
Like our adored customers and Slaysh itself, many of our brands are beginning to grow-up. Lifetime Collective is no exception proclaiming themselves a “work in progress,” as they too are an ever changing and far from finished dream. Their wish to be a receptive, ever adapting brand has been realized this year with their addition of Judith Feller.
Judith is a Vancouver based designer best known for her independently designed and manufactured clothing line - lily+jae. lily+jae sold all over North America and Asia even attracting the attention of A-listers such as Lykke Li and Lily Allen. Feller’s original break into the industry was as a design intern with the well loved Vancouver based retailer, Aritzia. Her next project? Kicking up Lifetime Collective’s new Spring/Summer 2012 women’s collection. Our reaction: fantastic.
Judith believes in a fashion/function balance and appoints American actress Jean Seberg as her style icon (famous in 50s/60s). She’s created a new woman for Lifetime, Selby, who brings about a subtle change to the women’s line, one that will catch the eye of the new Lifetime customer but also keep the OG-Lifetime-lover hooked.
We think she did a kick-ass job of exactly that. Below please enjoy a sneak preview of a few of pieces from Judith's debut Lifetime Collective line that will be here for spring.
