We are loving the uniqueness of the Jool collection. Each piece is one of a kind and will make a statement in your wardrobe or as a gift for that special person on your Christmas list.
We are proud to announce that we will be partnering this holiday season with JV Studios to bring you the best of both our worlds.
One Space, Two Shops opens today!
The picky shopper, the person who has everything, or the person who can’t fake a smile when receiving a bad gift. We all have one of these on our Christmas lists.
The ultimate solution is a gift card. Show you care so much that you will let them shop for their own gift rather then torturing them by trying.
* obviously this isn’t a really gift card code so don’t bother trying, haha
Hypebeast sat down to chat with Rob Myers of SLVDR and we had a chance to learn a few things ourselves.
Who started SLVDR?
-Rob Myers is the founder of SLVDR. Rob spent many years designing technical outerwear for the likes of Special Blend and Foursquare but after 13 years he was looking for a new challenge.
How do you pronounce the name?
-SLVDR is pronounced sal-va-dor. Just imagine the vowels in there. Salvador means ‘salvation’ in Spanish. The clothing brand became Rob’s design salvation.
What makes SLVDR unique among other brands?
-SLVDR is designed to be unique by attention to detail, creative use of fabric and adding new twists to classic design. The SLVDR customer is looking for an edge but nothing to in-your-face crazy.
Where does the design inspiration come from?
-To quote Rob, “SLVDR was born in California and raised by the world” Rob grew up skating, surfing and snowboarding and that creative youthful energy influences the brand. Over the years Rob was able to travel the world and brings back different cultural and environmental influences for his design process.

Making old and forgotten materials new again, this is what Burrowed by Caryne is all about. Burrowed is locally based and designer Caryne has an eye for rummaging through thrift stores for the perfect material to upcycle into one of her cozy scarves or unique jewelry pieces.
When Caryne was asked “What’s behind the name BurrowedByCaryne”? She answered: “my Grand-Maman’s favorite animal is the Owl and she is also one of the most creative people I know. She is a painter, seamstress, needle pointer and crafter. This collection is a reflection of what she has passed down to me. Also, an Owl is graceful, wise and loves to burrow themselves in order to stay protected and warm”
The warm and fuzzy meaning of the name Burrowed definitely shines through in the final creation.

By now you have probably heard our news for the new year. Coinciding with a little addition to the Slaysh family, a baby girl, we will be taking the direction of the store exclusively online. With this announcement comes quite a few questions. We have taken the time to answer some of the questions you may have so that you can be as excited as us about this new chapter.
You’ve Got A Question, We’ve Got An Answer
Why is Slaysh making this change?
Before you have any sad thoughts about the change we would like to make sure you know that we are SUPER EXCITED! The decision came to fruition when Sarah, the owner of Slaysh, became pregnant with her first child. Sarah has spent the last 6 years at the shop helping her first baby (the store) develop. With the upcoming arrival of a new addition to the Slaysh family, a baby girl, Sarah has decided to direct the business online in order to pursue the two things that are very important to her, business and family. Once the planning started it became more and more clear that this change is really exciting and it allows Slaysh to be more flexible when it comes to community involvement while at the same time continuing to bring our favorite product to you all.

When will I see Slaysh again?
Don’t worry we aren’t going too far. This exciting shift will give us the opportunity to accomplish some of the things we feel have been put on the backburner while being in the shop every day. We look forward to doing a seasonal pop up shop so you can drop by the temporary location and check out the latest for the season. We are also excited to have more availability to get involved with events in our community and dedicate more time to collaborating with other amazing people in our city who are doing exciting things. Although Slaysh won’t have a physical store it is a priority to continue to have a physical presence in this city.
How will I know what Slaysh is up to?
Keep following Slaysh on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to see what we are up to next and what new product has arrived. The blog at www.slaysh.com will be updated regularly to keep you in the loop.
I have a project I want to work on with Slaysh?
We would love to hear what you are working on and how Slaysh can be involved. Are you a stylist and need clothing for a photo shoot? Are you planning a fashion show? Do you need wardrobe for a music video? Are you throwing an event and you are looking for sponsorship? Do you have a location that would be perfect for a pop up shop? If you are looking for something a bit more exciting then just black add the small pin dot tights to your wardrobe.
