Last Saturday we celebrated Slaysh’s 5 year anniversary with an exciting night that started off with our favorite boys from The Love Machine who played a show at the store. Despite the fact that Slaysh was transformed into a sauna and we weren’t dancing around like crazy in avoidance of passing out, we thoroughly enjoyed the music and the humorous banter. Following the show we headed next door to the Corner Bar and Grill for some drinks, nachos, world changing conversation and hugs (lots of hugs). The most amazing thing about this evening was the people. I realized how many incredibly talented, supportive, fun and caring people we have in Ottawa. I am so very fortunate to have been surrounded by them all on Saturday.
